Hudson's Six Month Photoshoot
The six month milestone session is one of my favorites to photograph! They've still got those baby features, but starting to get their own unique personality. I would also say the six month session is one of the easiest to photograph. If all goes well...they just sit there, look at you, and smile! Just like this adorable little guy did :)
The six month session is also known as a "sitter" session. This is because we want baby to be able to full sit up on their own, unassisted. This makes photographing them SO much easier because you don't want them to be wobbly or falling over every five seconds. They also tend to get angry easier if they aren't able to hold themselves up. So at the end of their newborn session, I always tell the parent to wait until they can sit up....and that could mean six months, or even seven months. Every baby is different!
