Celebrating forrest- a sweet one year session

It’s hard to believe that Forrest is already one! I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing this sweet boy since he was just three months old, and watching him grow has been such a gift. From his 3-month session, to his curious expressions at 6 months, and now celebrating his first birthday — every moment has been filled with personality and love.

Forrest’s one-year session was full of the most adorable facial expressions you can imagine. He has such a range of expressions — from a curious raised eyebrow to even a few perfectly-timed “serious model” looks. I swear, he has comedic timing down already! His personality absolutely shines through every photo.

We also brought in some very special friends for this session — Forrest’s beloved stuffed teddy bears. They way he looked at them was the sweetest. There’s something so timeless and tender about little ones with their favorite stuffed animals, and I’m so glad we captured that sweet part of his world.

To make the day even more special, we included some family photos, too. It’s always so meaningful to see the love and connection between parents and their child — and Forrest’s bond with his older brother is also so sweet. But I also think will keep their parents on their toes! Whether snuggling with Mom and Dad or laughing during a tickle session, he was surrounded by warmth and joy.

It’s been such an honor to document Forrest’s first year, from baby milestones to gaining his awesome personality. Watching him grow has been an absolute joy!
