I recently welcomed Baby Hayes into the studio for his full newborn session, and he was such a joy to photograph. Just under two years ago, I photographed his older brother as a newborn, so it was incredibly special to have this family return to document this next chapter. Returning clients are so appreciated!

Hayes was a wonderful, sleepy baby who made the session go smoothly from start to finish. Because of that, we were able to capture a wide variety of images that are included in a full newborn session. This type of session offers the most variety and gives families a larger gallery of memories to treasure.

For Hayes, we photographed several different setups:

• Sibling and parent portraits – timeless images that show the special connections within the family.
• Wrapped poses – cozy, classic portraits that highlight baby’s tiny features.
• Outfit images – styled portraits in one of my newborn outfits, offering variety and a polished look.

A full newborn session ensures that families receive a balance of individual baby portraits, family connections, and styled images that can be displayed and cherished for years to come.

I loved seeing this family again and providing them with another gallery of images to celebrate their growing family. Capturing these fleeting newborn days is such an honor, and I’m grateful to help parents preserve them forever.
