Kansas Outdoor Photoshoot with The Wadlington Family
One of the best things about being a photographer is watching families grow.
The first time I took photos for this family was for Ezzrah's newborn photo shoot (he's now five!) I then photographed all his milestone sessions, a family session, and then his little brother's newborn and milestone photos! It's been so much fun being able to capture each addition to this family. And even watching the oldest siblings grow, as well!
Kansas did not disappoint with weather that evening. It was such a gorgeous day for a family photoshoot. The sun decided to hide for most of the session, but we still got some of that Spring warmth to show!
Let's talk outfits real quick. Nikki came to me about a week before and asked to see what I had available to borrow in my client closet. I always suggest to mom's to choose their outfit first and then plan the rest of the family around what she will be wearing. I love the darker earth tones and neutrals that she chose for everyone and it worked so well against all the Spring greens.
And can we talk about Josh and Nikki's photos?? {models} I always grab photos of just mom and dad because while family photos are important, it's also important to capture those alone moments.
