Andrea and her husband joined me for the most beautiful maternity session. A photoshoot that blended the elegance of a luxury studio experience with the warmth of early Fall … even if it felt more like summer outside! These two drove an hour to my studio, and I’m so honored they chose to trust me with this special moment before their little one arrives in November.

We started indoors with a high-end, editorial-inspired look. The dramatic lighting, soft posing, and clean backdrop created such a timeless feel. I love it when expecting parents choose a casual wardrobe for studio portraits. There’s something so effortless and intimate about it, and it really lets the connection between them shine. The whole session had that elevated, magazine-style vibe, and Andrea absolutely glowed under the lights.

After capturing a full set of luxury studio images, we headed outdoors to capture those early Fall tones. Even though the temperatures didn’t exactly cooperate, Andrea and her husband powered through the heat with smiles, laughter, and so much excitement about their growing family. The golden leaves, warm light, and their natural, easy chemistry made the perfect combination.

One of my favorite parts of their story is that they’re waiting to find out the baby’s gender until birth! Something I would not have the ability to do...they've got more patience than I do, I guess! It's such a sweet layer of anticipation as they get closer to meeting their newborn baby.

I’m so grateful they made the trip and invested in a high-end experience to celebrate this chapter. This session was a beautiful mix of elegance, authenticity, and joy...everything maternity photography should be.
