Wichita Kansas newborn session with baby Adley

There’s something truly magical about welcoming a little one into the world, and I had the honor of documenting Baby Adley’s first days earth side. This session was extra special because just a month prior, I had the pleasure of photographing her beautiful mother’s maternity session. Seeing the journey from glowing pregnancy to the arrival of this sweet baby girl was an experience I enjoyed capturing.

Baby Adley was an absolute dream during our session. She slept soundly through most of the shoot, allowing us to capture the sweetest, most serene images. Her tiny fingers, sweet baby lips, and those perfectly curled newborn poses made for some incredibly heartwarming photographs. It’s always a joy to work with a sleepy newborn, as it gives us the opportunity to create those peaceful, cozy images that parents cherish forever.

We incorporated soft pastels of pink and purple and also a few Christmas setups to highlight her birthday in December. From snugly wrapped poses to dreamy close-ups of tiny feet, every image captured the love and warmth that surrounded her. And of course, we made sure to include a few special moments with her proud mom and dad, making for timeless memories they can treasure for a lifetime.

It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love what I do. Witnessing the transition from pregnancy to newborn life and capturing these fleeting moments is a privilege. Thank you to Baby Adley and her family for allowing me to be part of such a special time.
