More of my favorite studio props!
If you read "Part 1" of my most used props for both newborns and older babies, you probably noticed a love bamboo products. (If you didn't read "Part 1", read it here!) And if you've been in my photography studio, I'm sure you've noticed the large stack of bamboo props in the corner. They are just so versatile, whether you want a boho look or a rustic look....it works for both and adds such a high quality look to your photos.
Round Basket
This bamboo round basket is one of my most favorite and most used props in my studio! It is perfect for newborn photography, as well as older baby milestone sessions. And the design on the front just adds so much character!
Diamond Bed
Another prop I use pretty much EVERY session! As well as another prop that can be used for both newborns and older babies. (Can you tell I love products that can be used for both?) I probably use this prop the most for my milestone photoshoots because they are able to hold on to the sides in they need that extra stability. As you can see, peacefully sleeping newborns fit just perfectly, too. I love all the various angles and ways you can use this to make it look different each time!
Metal Bucket
Okay, I know....this one isn't bamboo. BUT it's definitely a new favorite newborn prop! I've hesitated for years on getting one of these buckets because, to be honest, I could never get down the "chin on hands" pose down. However, I finally took the plunge on purchasing it and force myself to at least attempt the pose during each session. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And that's fine! Some babies love it....and some hate it. haha
The best part about this bucket?? Interchangeable magnets! Instead of having a million different colored buckets, the look of this bucket can be changed by the simple swap of a magnet. Brilliant!
